UPDATE for 25.09.20

Wow what a summer, thank you to all those that supported us and the many local musicians who played at our ‘Acoustic Sundays in the Park’ event throughout August. We learnt a lot during the process, and loved seeing old and new (masked) faces in the sunshine - especially those who braved the rain!

Our soft launch to hirers in September has gone well, and we continue to help them with their Covid friendly classes around the ever evolving Government guidelines.

With the essential maintenance in the auditorium nearly complete, we hope to be re-open for events mid-October with a streamlined covid friendly programme, from community groups, commercial cinema, comedy, and reduced capacity live music. This programming should be coming onto our website throughout September and October.

We are still moving some shows from 2020, there is no need to call us, Box Office will make contact when details are confirmed. All venues and producers will be facing the same issue, socially distancing an audience reduces the capacity, impacting budgets and the financial viability of many of our shows. Our skeleton team have been working on live streaming (and recorded) events, so where our capacity is reduced to accommodate social distancing, in the future you will have the additional option to buy an online stream ticket to watch in the comfort from your home. This is daunting but a very exciting move, plus it will give us an additional needed revenue stream which can make the difference between being able to put on a certain show or not. We hope this evolution and new way of working will see us through this strange year, and beyond into whatever 2021 throws at us.

UPDATE for 07.06.20

Lockdown life at The Harlington is dark but not quiet. We are officially re-scheduled until the end of August, however without a viable schedule of when we can open our doors, we are slowly moving shows month by month with a skeleton staff. We continue to move and refund tickets in show priority order, there is no need to call us we will contact with you. And a big thank you to the recent flurry of customers who have bought tickets for 2021, this is keeping us motivated during a really strange summer.

Meanwhile we’ve been taking the opportunity to do maintenance that might otherwise be intrusive, there’s been a lot of painting in awkward corners and reorganizing, as well as larger pre-emptive projects like cleaning our air ventilation system and additional hand sanitizer stations at critical touch points. However from an operational point of view we really need clear government direction before we can properly open our doors to the general public, ensuring the wellbeing of our staff and visitors will always be our highest priority.

UPDATE for 09.06.20

We are officially closed until the end of August, and temporarily our doors are closed to the general public.

Apologies for the short notice. With immediate effect Box Office and Marketing is about to close for the rest of June. But don’t worry we’ll be back to answering your queries and moving shows in Monday 6th July!

UPDATE for 25.03.20

At this difficult and uncertain time, we're monitoring the unfolding situation, as you are, and at present, don't know when we will be able to re-open our doors to the public. We are trying to reschedule spring shows and are contacting all affected customers in chronological order, currently working up to the end of May.

If you have tickets for an upcoming show please bear with us while we work everything out. In the first instance we are trying to reschedule as many shows as possible, which does take time. There is no need to make contact with us, once a decision is made we will make contact with you. Being a small team your patience and understanding is really appreciated.

UPDATE for 18.03.20

Due to the current situation, and in line with Government advice, The Harlington will only be open for pre-booked hires during March.

This measure has been introduced to help protect our customers and staff from the possible spread of germs.

UPDATE 17.03.20

After watching the latest news overnight The Harlington have taken the decision to reschedule, or cancel, all shows in March after government advice to stop non-essential contact. We will be watching government advice beyond that and taking it one day at a time.

We will be making contact with customers in show priority, meaning tonight’s show first. We will then approach the next show and so on. In order to allow us to work as efficiently as possible we would ask customers to bear with us as we are a small team. There will be no need for you to ring us about rescheduling or refunds, we will make contact with you.

We are working hard to deal with things as quickly as possible and our staff are doing their very best at an unpredictable and difficult time. Please be patient while we try to make contact. All venues are getting information at the same time as the general public, there is a natural delay while decisions are made.

UPDATE 10.03.20

Like you, we are eagle-eyed watching the government advice on events regarding the Coronavirus and will act on any advice and guidance given in line with the rest of our industry. We would obviously expect our customers to do the same with regards to their health and that of others around them. Government details can be found here:

As it stand, all of our performances are going ahead as scheduled. Should government advice change we will let our customers know as soon as we are able to.

WE ARE: For the last few weeks our cleaners have increased their cleaning schedules. We are proactively encouraging staff and hirers to maintain good hygiene levels, with additional emphasis on washing our hands more often.

WE NEED YOU: Please ensure if you come into our building you are regularly washing your hands (bonus points if we find you singing out loud for 20 seconds), and please remember to put your rubbish and tissues in the bins provided.
