King King is one of the UK’s premier rock bands, renowned for their powerful vocals, electrifying guitar work, and dynamic live performances. Fronted by Alan Nimmo, whose distinctive voice and signature kilt make him a standout presence, the band has earned widespread acclaim with albums like Reaching for the Light (2015) and Maverick (2020). Their blend of soulful blues and rock grooves is showcased in standout tracks like “Rush Hour” and “A Long History of Love,” which have become fan favourites.

The line up now includes Alan’s brother Stevie on second guitar and vocals, which has added a breath of fresh air and a new dimension to the band.

Jonny Dyke (keys), Jon Lodge (drums) and Zander Greenshields (bass) complete the line-up, with the mighty King King now sounding arguably the best it ever has.

A string of sold-out performances on their latest tours is testament to just that.

Alan Nimmo has been in the music business for many years now – more than he can care to remember – but one thing has never changed. His desire to make honest, real music which comes from deep down within the soul.

It may well have been high profile support slots with the likes of John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, Thunder and Europe which opened King King’s music up to a much wider audience. But it was pure talent and hard work which got them there in the first place.

Regularly headlining major venues and festivals, King King has played iconic stages across the UK, including the O2 Academy Leeds and KK’s Steel Mill. They’ve also made their mark at renowned festivals such as Download and Ramblin’ Man Fair, delivering shows filled with energy, passion, and musicianship.

King King’s music is the kind of music that makes people happy.

You can bet your kilt on it!
