Ian Levine

Ian Levine is one of the most influential figures in the history of Northern Soul. Emerging in the early 1970s as a DJ at the Blackpool Mecca, he played a pivotal role in shaping the movement by introducing rare American soul records to UK dance floors. Renowned for his deep musical knowledge and fearless programming, he later expanded his career into songwriting and production, modernising elements of the soul sound and influencing related genres such as disco and hi NRG. His enduring reputation makes his appearances events, attracting dancers and collectors from across the country.

Steve Lyons

Steve Lyons is a respected Northern Soul DJ and promoter with a long standing presence on the UK soul scene. Active since the 1970s, he is known for his expertly curated sets spanning Northern Soul, Motown and classic club soul. During the 1990s he founded the In crowd Soul Society, creating dedicated events that have built a loyal following throughout the south of England. His DJ appearances are celebrated for their authenticity, atmosphere and dance floor focus.

Kevin Crook & Brian Lee

Kevin Crook and Brian Lee are established figures on the soul and Motown circuit, regularly appearing at specialist events and themed club nights. Known for delivering crowd pleasing selections that blend classic Motown with uplifting soul favourites, their sets are designed to keep the dance floor moving and complement both live performances and headline DJs.
